Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information georgeizunwa.com collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. It covers this website and its bookstore. If you have questions after reading it, contact us at info@georgeizunwa.com.

Information you provide directly. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message. When you place an order in the bookstore, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and delivery details (address, city, state, and country) needed to fulfil that order.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server processes standard technical information, such as your IP address, to keep the site secure and to prevent abuse (for example, limiting repeated failed login attempts on our admin system). We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking or analytics service.

Cookies. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies: one to keep track of items in your cart as you browse, and, for site administrators only, a signed cookie that keeps an admin logged in. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

How we use your information. We use it to process and fulfil orders, respond to inquiries, protect the site against abuse, and, where you have given us contact details for that purpose, send order-related updates. We do not use your information for marketing without your consent, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

Payment processing. Card payments are handled entirely by Paystack, a licensed payment processor. We never see or store your full card number: Paystack processes the transaction and gives us only a confirmation of success or failure.

Sharing your information. We share order and delivery details with Paystack (to process payment) and, where applicable, with our email delivery provider (to send order and inquiry confirmations). We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law.

Data retention. We keep order and contact records for as long as reasonably needed to fulfil orders, respond to inquiries, and meet our accounting and legal obligations, and no longer than necessary beyond that.

Your rights. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to info@georgeizunwa.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. These rights are consistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

Children's privacy. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top will always show when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
